The town of Pantego, TX is home to approximately 2,544 people according to a 2016 census.  It is bordered by the city of Arlington, TX along the north, west and east side of the town and Dalworthington Gardens, TX on the south side. If one were to look at a map majority of the town is encompassed by the following streets: Bowen, Division, Park Springs and Park Row. Some say the history of this town goes all the way back to year 1542 and was names after Colonel Foscue's friend Pantego. This town offers the true community feel and is home to Bicentennial Park which the voters approved in 1976 which offers walking trails, a seasonal concession stand, two pavilions and a gazebo.

The way this city was founded is quite peculiar yet it adds to the cities charm. It all started in the Spring of 1933 when a man by the name of Carl G. Mosig bought a 15 acre tract off Arkansas Lane. While Carl worked in Fort Worth he met a man by the name of Elliott Roosevelt who was the son of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. When he brought his mother Eleanor to visit Carl one day, she had an interest in the land just south of Mr. Mosig. Next thing you know, Eleanor had established Dalworthington Gardens.
In a 2016 census the population was registered at 2,383 people in Dalworthington Gardens, TX. This city is centrally located just north of I-20 and south of I-30, close to shopping (The Parks at Arlington) and Arlington Independent School District (ISD) schools.
