Brittany Taylor

Brittany Taylor joined the Schultz & Kellar team in 2018. Brittany graduated with a J.D. and Masters of Science in Financial Planning in 2013 from Texas Tech University. During college, Brittany worked for an attorney who specialized in Estate and Tax planning, and quickly fell in love with how this area of practice captured the human aspect of the law and allowed her to get to know the people she was helping. Prior to joining Schultz and Kellar, Brittany worked in wealth management, where she did financial, estate, and strategic business and tax planning for ultra-high net worth clients. While working in this capacity, Brittany helped freeze and eliminate estate tax burdens and put plans in place for education, charitable giving, asset protection, and preservation of wealth for multiple generations. As one of only 12 actively-practicing Texas attorneys who also hold a Certified Financial Planner™ designation, Brittany takes a holistic approach to estate planning and is able to help clients see how the smallest details can affect their overall plan.

Brittany’s practice focuses on estate planning (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.), estate tax planning and wealth transfer, probate, alternatives to probate, and Business Entity formation and maintenance.

Brittany grew up in Amarillo, Texas but has called DFW home since 2013. When she is not working with clients, Brittany can be found at the gym, volunteering with various charities, or spending time with family and friends. She is also an avid traveler and enjoys learning new languages and about different cultures.
